Please help support our band program

On October 23, 2010 the Cascade High School Band and Color Guard Boosters will be holding their annual marching band competition. Marching bands and color guards of all sizes, from all over the state and Pacific Northwest, travel to Everett Memorial Stadium to compete in this prestigious event. This is the main fund raiser for our Band and Color Guard Booster organization and proceeds from this event will make it possible for the Boosters to purchase and repair band equipment, fund uniforms, and fund travel and competition expenses for all bands and the color guard at Cascade including the wind bands, jazz band, and percussion ensemble.

Your support of this year's competition makes it possible for students to participate in our award-winning marching and other band programs. Our top-rated Band and Color Guard have attended music festivals and competitions across the United States and around the world. We took top honors in New York City in March 2009 at the Heritage Musical Festival and this year our band has the amazing opportunity to travel to Beijing, China in early April. Such experiences teach invaluable lessons of dedication, teamwork, punctuality, and responsibility. Your support of our festival will help our young musicians continue to gain the benefits of such opportunities. Below are three ways that local businesses and band patrons alike can be involved.

Program Ads

A souvenir program featuring information about participating bands plus advertisements from local businesses and PSFOB supporters is sold at the festival. Your ad in our program will be seen by many area residents. Parents can place a personal message to acknowledge or congratulate your student as well. Program ads range from $30 for a Patron Ad up to $325 for a full page ad.

Trophy and Award Sponsorship

Over 50 trophies and plaques (Click here for availability) are awarded after preliminary and final competitions during the Puget Sound Festival of Bands. As an award sponsor, your name will appear in the PSFOB Souvenir Program for each trophy and plaque you sponsor and will be announced when the award is given. Additionally you have the option of presenting the trophy or plaque the night of the festival. Trophy and Award Sponsorships range from $100 to $300.
